Tennis star Maria Sharapova reported has been engaged to Los Angeles Lakers' shooting guard, Sasha Vujacic. This happy moment happened when the Slovenian basketball player proposed to Sharapova last week at his home, on their one-year anniversary.The couple has been together since last year, when they were spotted together at a U2 concert in Los Angeles. "We are engaged and are both really happy" said Sasha. "It was probably old school. I had to do it like a gentlemen" he added.
The Russian tennis sensation, Maria Sharapova, also reported wearing a US$ 250,000 engagement ring and looks very happy.
Sasha Vujacic (26) and Maria Sharapova (23) have not set a wedding date as of yet. The pair look really good together and we hope the engagement leads to a wedding. Although, there are some jokes wandering around the media that Sharapova (1.88 m) chose Vujacic because she was having a hard time finding a descent guy taller than her, and that's where Vujacic (2.01 m) meets the requirement.
